With more than 24 years of experience in the Mexican energy sector, Hector Olea has actively participated in the promotion and development of renewable energy in the country. Since 2004, Hector Olea is President and CEO of Gauss, a business development firm specialized in the energy sector. Gauss activities are focused in the identification, development and structuring investment opportunities in renewable energy projects.

Miguel Sierra

Miguel Sierra has more than 15 years of experience in electrical engineering and energy storage systems. He has worked for more than nine years in battery technology development, researching new electrode and electrolyte materials, cell designs, balance of plant and integration with power electronics. As part of this work he has gained extensive knowledge of battery technologies and emerging markets for battery energy storage.

Over his 8-year tenure, Danny has played a critical role in establishing Powin as a key player in the North American energy storage industry. Danny is currently in charge of international business development activities as well as, cultivating and managing many of Powin’s key strategic battery cell vendor and PCS vendor relationships. Danny holds a degree in International Business and Chinese.

With over 10 years of experience, Angie Soto has contributed to the consolidation and growth of Nexus Energía Group, leading company in renewable assets management, providing the Market Representation Agency service of Spain since year 2000 with more than 40% of it’s photovoltaic facilities. Nowadays Nexus Energía manages more than 11 TWh of renewable energy between Spain, Germany, Portugal and Mexico.

Carlos Gomez Mont

Carlos joined Pöyry in February 2012 and leads Pöyry’s electricity market work in Mexico as well working on the development of Pöyry’s modelling tools. Carlos has taken part in the development of Pöyry’s modelling tools for carbon (Carbon Model), flagship electricity market model (BID 3.0), CfD auction model and solar generation tools.
