Technical Solar & Energy Storage Briefing Europe

Add to Calendar

Global markets are set to grow and so we are: The solar PV expansion is estimated to reach 145 GW in 2021 and 162 GW in 2022, breaking records and accounting for almost over 55% of all renewable energy expansion. Also, PV markets in Europe are booming. With the ‘Green Deal’ and a subsequent raise of CO2 emission reduction targets in member countries, a greater expansion of solar systems can be expected. In 2020 a capacity of over 21 GW new PV systems were installed; a growth of 21 percent is forecasted for the present year lifting deployments to 25.6 GW.

Taking a closer look at the residential storage segment in Europe, the outlook is also very bright: After deployment of approx. 150,500 storage systems in 2020, these numbers will increase further to 205,000+ installations in 2021.

This session will highlight different EU solar and storage trends from both a technical and market point of view. Learn about market drivers, such as falling costs, growing flexibility needs, evolving markets and electricity access. Gain real-life insights on most innovative technologies and how they can have a positive impact for your future business.
